What do you want students to take away from your courses?
The goal of my courses is for students to attain foundational knowledge of the topic and then to apply that information in the rule of an administrator in either the K-12 or higher education environment.
Why did you start teaching?
I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my parents. Even though I saw how hard they worked, the satisfaction they felt when they impacted students' lives was very inspiring.
What advice would you give to students considering this online program?
This program gives you the opportunity to advance your knowledge base, which in turn may impact your career trajectory in a positive way.

What qualities make someone particularly successful in education?
To be a successful in the realm of education, either as an instructor or as an administrator, requires a certain level of selflessness. Your focus must be on the students and being able to creatively meet their educational needs.
What do you think is the biggest challenge educators face today?
The changing expectations of diverse stakeholders has challenged the dynamics of the profession. Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know about you. I lived in both Australia and New Zealand.
