Andreas School of Business and Public Administration

Founded in 1976, the Andreas School of Business and Public Administration (ASBPA) at Barry University strives to develop in our students a strong sense of ethics, social responsibility, and an entrepreneurial attitude with a global perspective. We are committed to excellent teaching, engaged learning, and collaboration with our community. Our intellectual contributions emphasize practical applications, with our faculty also engaging in theoretical and empirical research and instructional development.

Barry University is a member of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA)—The Global Standard in Public Service Education.

Barry University’s administrative hierarchy includes President Mike Allen, PhD, and the University Board of Trustees. The MPA program, which is housed within the Andreas School of Business and Public Administration, is governed by the Dean of the Andreas School of Business and Public Administration, Bogdan Daraban, PhD; Associate Dean Manuel J. Tejeda, PhD, MSEd, and the MPA Program Director Margaret Leigh Broxton Bragg, PhD, MPA.
