Which classes do you teach online?

What do you want students to take away from your courses?
I expect my students to learn and become comfortable with accounting—the language of business. I want my students to appreciate the value of accounting to business decision-making. I want my students to know what accounting tools are available to them and to be able to use them to increase the value of the firm.
Why did you start teaching?
I love teaching! From the first time I stood in front of a classroom, I knew teaching was my calling. I enjoy interacting with students and am committed to helping them succeed in and out of the classroom.
What advice would you give to students considering this online program?
Do it! An MBA is a valuable degree that will help you land the right job or advance in your career.
What qualities make someone particularly successful in accounting?
Accounting is not mathematics, like many students incorrectly believe. To do well in accounting, you need to be logical—and to be successful, you need to dedicate yourself to your studies. You need to work hard! Accounting is not easy, but it is worth the effort.
What do you think is the biggest challenge that accountants face today?
Accountants and those that know accounting fare well in the world of work. In the accounting profession, the biggest challenge is maintaining the work-life balance. It is a very demanding profession.
