School of Professional and Career Education
In 1971, Barry University recognized the unique educational needs of the working adult learner and established what is now known as the School of Professional and Career Education (PACE).
By 1982, PACE operated in 25 off-campus sites to serve the adult learner with schedules and academic support that accommodate busy lifestyles while still maintaining the high-quality education upon which Barry's reputation is founded.
PACE online courses offer the same excellent quality as face-to-face courses but with greater flexibility for both scheduling and learning pace. Whether you are a new or returning student, the faculty and staff at PACE are here to help you reach your educational goals.
PACE online programs are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC™). PACE adheres to the Best Practices for Electronically Offered Degree and Certificate Programs espoused by the Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. PACE is a member of Quality Matters, a national organization that is considered the gold standard for evidence-based benchmarks and assurance of quality for online course design and instruction.
