Founded in 1976, the Andreas School of Business at Barry University strives to develop in our students a strong sense of ethics, social responsibility, and an entrepreneurial attitude with a global perspective. We are committed to excellent teaching, engaged learning, and collaboration with our community. Our intellectual contributions emphasize practical applications, with our faculty also engaging in theoretical and empirical research and instructional development.
The School of Business is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), a globally recognized accreditation emphasizing excellence and continuous improvement in programs for business schools. Barry University’s administrative hierarchy includes President Mike Allen, PhD, and the University Board of Trustees. The MPA program, which is housed within the Andreas School of Business, is governed by the Dean of the School of Business, Joan Phillips, PhD, Associate Dean for the Public Administration program, Stephen Sussman, PhD, MPA Program Director, Carole Huberman, PhD, and the core full-time MPA faculty.
