STEM-Designated MBA Programs

We have some good news. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, overall employment for STEM occupations is projected to grow 11 percent from 2022 to 2032, faster than the average for all occupations. Employers are constantly looking for talented leaders who can provide solutions to their business challenges by interpreting a large amount of complex data, as well as being able to balance their technical knowledge with soft skills such as communication and leadership.

The even better news? On July 12, 2023, the Department of Homeland Security announced an update to the STEM Designated Degree Program List, which includes Barry University’s MBA programs as well as the concentrations. The list of STEM topics is compiled based on the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) definition of a science, technology, engineering, and math field.

Your MBA from Barry and our STEM-designated degree create the perfect intersection of highly skilled, highly valued, and highly compensated business leaders.
