We provide flexible policies that allow service members and their families to complete degrees rather than just accumulate course credit.
SOC members are committed to following SOC principles, which include the following:
- Reasonable Transfer of Credit: Avoid excessive loss of previously earned credit and coursework duplication
- Credit for Nationally Recognized Testing Programs: Credit for programs such as the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) or the General and Subject Exams (DANTES)
- Credit for Experiential Learning: There are multiple options to earn up to 90 credits toward the 120 required for graduation through professional licenses and certifications, testing, nontraditional transfer credit and the optional Experiential Learning Portfolio
